Getting started<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Joining a hunt<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the app and choose Play a hunt<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Pick a published hunt from the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Enter your team’s name. This is how your progress and score are identified \u2014 use the same name every time so you can pick up where you left off.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Allow location access when prompted. The map centers on you and shows every station.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Completing a station<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Tap a marker on the map to open its details. The clue text \u2014 and the ability to submit an answer \u2014 only appears once you’re within about 15 meters of the actual location. This is intentional: it keeps the hunt an outdoor, on-foot experience rather than something solvable from a screenshot at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Depending on the task, you’ll either type a short text answer or take a photo with the in-app camera. Once submitted, the station is marked complete and its points are added to your team’s total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Checking your progress<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Use the Progress<\/strong> screen to see which stations are done, how many remain, and how many points you’ve earned. From there \u2014 or from a station’s detail screen \u2014 you can tap Show on map<\/strong> to jump straight back to any station’s location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The leaderboard<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Open the leaderboard from the map toolbar or the Progress screen to see every team’s total points and completed-task count for the current hunt, ranked live as answers come in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Creating your own hunt (organisers)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    From the home screen, choose Editor<\/strong> and sign in with your organiser account. Once signed in you’ll stay signed in on that device until you explicitly tap Log out<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
